Event Details AustCham's Talent Committee invites you to join us for our February meeting where we will hear from Loic Andre, Christy Ting and Jacky Wan of WISE Employment - a not-for-profit employment services provider, helping job seekers find and keep work with inclusive employers who recognise and value diversity.
WISE Employment, a renowned not-for-profit disability employment services provider founded over 30 years ago in Australia, set up its Hong Kong branch in 2024. It aims to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and contribute to the growth of an inclusive workforce in the city. WISE provides support by actively training and placing candidates in mainstream working environments

Loïc André Country Manager at WISE
Loïc André Country Manager at WISE With a Master’s in Economic Sciences and over 20 years of diverse experience across three continents, Loïc believes in social innovation by leading with a charitable heart and a business mind. He now leads WISE 匯菁, driving its mission to empower people living with disabilities through employment. In the first half of 2024, he and his team have delivered 120 hours of training on disability inclusion. Supporting a talent pool of over 2,300 people, they have successfully placed 23 individuals into meaningful and quality employment in the same period. Conscious of the work at hand, the WISE 匯菁 team collaborates with over 50 employers, 30 academic institutions, government departments, and more than 40 nonprofilt stakeholders to foster meaningful social impact in Hong Kong.
Christy Ting Employment Partner at WISE
Christy Ting Employment Partner at WISE Christy is the Employment Partner in charge of Campus at WISE 匯菁. She has over 5 years' experience supporting Diversity and Inclusion initiatives in both commercial and non-profit sectors. As a hearing-impaired individual, she deeply understands the challenges faced by SEN students and is committed to empowering them through comprehensive training and coaching programs that will guide them towards fulfilling opportunities and unlock their full potential. Working closely with 17 academic partners, Christy has successfully facilitated over 40 internship placements. Through her dedicated work, Christy is a passionate advocate for creating inclusive and accessible employment opportunities for individuals with diverse abilities.
Jacky Wan Employment Partner at WISE
Jacky Wan Employment Partner at WISE Jacky is the Employment Partner in charge of Experienced Hires at WISE 匯菁. He has over 3 years of experience in disability inclusion and professional agency recruitment. He prides himself on his ability to understand both the business and diversity needs of his corporate clients. In the past 3 years, Jacky has empowered over 40 of his customers (PWDs) into meaningful career placements in the banking, retail, luxury, entertainment, catering, insurance, nonprofit and public transport sectors. He believes that every individual, much like a pebble creating ripples in water, has unique abilities that can bring about positive changes in society. Jacky is a joyful person and loves a good conversation.
